Deep Recovery

“We must go down to the very foundations of life. For any merely superficial ordering of life that leaves its deepest needs unsatisfied is as ineffectual as if no attempt at order had ever been made …” – I Ching, Hexagram #34, The Well

Are you looking for more in your Recovery?
Many of us feel that something is missing in recovery. We have relief from our addiction. We may have worked through some of the more difficult traumas/issues. And we can be left wondering, “is this all there is?” Perhaps there are deeper issues that have not been addressed by traditional therapy or recovery groups. Maybe we have worked hard to cultivate a meaningful life, but feel that we just can’t truly connect with or stay connected with these depths.

What is Deep Recovery?
Deep Recovery helps to integrate the psychological issues that block connection to our deepest natures. It does this by using the tools and understanding of integral therapy to move recovery into the deeper dimensions of our humanity. Everyone has a peaceful, contented core/true self. Typically, this is covered over my more superficial layers of thoughts and beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. With practice and understanding these layers can be worked with, and the wonder of our true nature can begin to shine through. Life becomes simple and beautiful as we feel at home within ourselves.
